Week 3 In the Bag!

Today i finished my third week of the C25k program. Wow...what a week! Day one was a typical 'beginning of week' kind of day. It was more mental than anything else, in my opinion. As i finished the first (of two) 3 minute run, i raised my arms up in the air in a Rocky kind of way. Ha ha, i think the lady walking behind me thought i was nuts.
Day two was blah...I couldn't believe i got out of bed! Anyway, i thought it would be a bit easier then day one, but it was a bit of a struggle. I felt like i was just dragging my feet, but still finished the entire workout. There was a lady at the park that calls me over, she starts telling me all about her sauna suit. She even gave me the box for it, i thanked her and continued working out. I couldn't workout in that thing, it's crazy!! I would probably dehydrate so fast, fall over from a hear stroke, or melt into the asphalt!
Day three, no energy. I was thinking about staying in, but decided that it would help me with gaining energy, and getting over whatever i have (cold, maybe?). To be honest, i just wanted to finish the week, and to feel that proud feeling. And i do!!! I felt like crap and i still went... yay me!

  1. You can do it!! Just keep at it. Running is hard work -- just like everything else worth doing ;)
